@MrScruff when I occassionaly do breed for natures, I like to find one that will either round out my stats or sacrifice one for another. In this case, speed isn't something I value too much in a Metagross, and it's mega's lowest non-HP stat is Sp attack. therefore, I round out my stats by lowering one that is both (a) not the lowest, and (b) not something I value, as well as raising its lowest. from there, I build my IV setup - 31 on nature-impacted stats, ignore defense because it is (a) maxed, (b) not valuable to me, © both. in this case A
