It has been too long since I've been on this site...
I apologize if I am posting in the wrong area but I have a burning question regarding the Pokemon mystery dungeon games.
Let me explain: The character we play as was a human (everyone knows that). It is said that we came from the 'human world'. The character we play as does know what a pokemon is. Here's my confusion:
Do they mean 'human world' as in the main series Pokemon world that has humans alongside real-life pokemon? Is that where s/he came from?
Or, do they mean 'human world' as in reality? Our reality that we are in right now (Where you are currently reading my question) and the character knows what a pokemon is because they played the games?
Is it said for sure which is true or will it be speculation and theories? Am I being stupid? (Probably, yes)
EDIT: Also, in the Mystery Dungeon universe, do pokemon know what they all are?
i.e. Does a Clefable see a dragon-type as strong and dangerous or does clefable see the dragon-type as an easy battle due to type matchups?
Do they know their types? how much do they know of their types?
I will use this information in a mystery dungeon story I will be writing so please respond
