Solgaleo and Lunala appear to now be able to fuse with Necrozma and take on what we're currentl calling "Ultra Forms". The Z-Rings seems to have a new function as well. The games will release on the Nintendo 3DS family systems on November 17, 2017.
POKEMON GOLD AND SILVER ON THE VIRTUAL CONSOLE
Classic Pokemon games from Generation II, Pokemon Gold Version and Pokemon Silver Version, have been confirmed to be getting a Nintendo eShop Virtual Console release.
