New VGC format Question!

Since Pokémon just released the new battle format for VGC (National Dex Pokémon allowed), does this mean that I can transfer my competitive Pokémon from X/Y over to ORAS or do they have to be 6th gen Hoenn native?

Yep. They only need that Blue Pentagon from 6th gen for them to work.
