I just stumbled upon /r/pokemonqrcodes/ and was wondering how this actually works? I want it try it and they don't have an explanation thread pinned at all. :|

Is this the method that involves the 3DS Browser or something?

This is going to make my life so much easier when it comes to breeding competitive Pokemon. It's like Gen 5 & Pokecheck all over again. Hallelujah.
