Basically Slot 1-5 refer to the locations to where your items are position. Say if I have the held item Leftover in slot 2 and indicate it on the Powersave option to increase the amount to x999, well you should the number allocated there. The same concept should be the same when selecting the four moveslots for a Pokemon. Just be careful when giving yourself an item or changing a move as you don't want to delete something important like a Master Ball, Power item, Lucky Egg, important move, etc.
