Hi everyone

I want to make a new competitive team and I would like to hear any opinions or advice people have on it so I can make the team the best possible. Here it is:

Sludge bomb
Leech seed
Synthesis

2) Vaporeon
Bold nature, holding leftovers
Ability= water absorb
Scald
Aqua ring
Ice beam
Toxic

3) Garchomp
Jolly nature, holding rocky helmet
Ability= rough skin
Dragon claw
Earthquake
Rock slide
Iron tail

4) Manectric
Timid nature, holding electrium z
Ability= lightning rod
Thunderbolt
Volt switch
Protect
Roar

5) Togekiss
Timid nature, holding leftovers
Ability= serence grace
Dazzling Gleam
Psychic
Baton pass
Wish

6) Arcanine

Hi,

you did an awesome job so far. Arcanine and Garchomp are two of my most favourite Pokemon.
Nevertheless, my suggestion would be to play Garchomp even more defensive.

3) Garchomp
Impish nature, holding rocky helmet
Ability= rough skin
Dragon tail
Earthquake
Stealth rock
Toxin

and for
2) Vaporeon
Bold nature, holding leftovers
Ability= water absorb
Scald
Roar / Shadow ball
Ice beam
Wish

By doing so
- attacks and nature fit better to Garchomp's ability and item
- Garchomp as a stealth rock setter makes roar in your team more effective
- together with toxic, dragon tail, wish, protect, synthesis you get a stealth team
- Vaporeon with shadow ball instead of roar to be more offensive and to help Venusaur
with the danger of psychic pokemon

Have a great day!
Best,
Gernot

Yes, I have more recommendations for you. May I ask on which edition do you prepare your team?

I just realized that you have two Pokemon in your team with leftovers. Don't get me wrong, leftovers are great but in competitive playing its often the case that two Pokemon in your team are not allowed to hold the same item. So instead I would play Arcanine as follows

6) Arcanine
Adamant nature, holding sitrus berry
Ability= Intimidate
Flare blitz
Will-O-Wisp / Roar
Morning sun
Close combat

For a more defensive Arcanine and to substitute leftovers I would go for Morning sun. However, when playing Morning sun please take care of weather condition. Also do proper EV split on KP to make healing more efficient. Additionally, by holding sitrus berry you get a one time health boost which is quite usefull in case of needing after recoil damage.
Will-O-Wisp is great since in combination with intimidate you are decreasing physical attacks of foes Pokemon drastically. And by doing so it can also lead your foe to switch Pokemon which again activates your stealth rocks similar to Roar. I would prefer it over Roar, though.

Have a geat day!
Best,
Gernot
