[RATE MY TEAM] Mega-Heracross VGC 15 Team
#1
So I tried building a team around Mega-Heracross for VGC 15, this is what I ended up with. I works well on showdown, I do have certain problems with trickroom team, could use a taunt, but Im not too sure about it.

Heracross-Mega @ Heracronite
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 36 HP / 148 Atk / 80 SpD / 244 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Pin Missile
- Rock Blast
- Close Combat
- Protect

Meowstic @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
EVs: 216 HP / 64 SpD / 228 Spe
Impish Nature
- Fake Out
- Light Screen
- Quick Guard
- Safeguard

Protects Heracross from Gale wing brave birds from Talonflame with quick guard and lightscreen to weaken heatwaves coming my way.
safeguard to counter dark voids and prevent burn form heracross.

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unnerve
Level: 50
EVs: 36 HP / 12 Atk / 4 Def / 220 SpD / 236 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Tailwind
- Wide Guard
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake

another talonflame counter, outspeeds max speed adamant talonflame and OHKOs with rock slide. wide guard as a great support move as well as tailwind and EQ since none else one my team has it, but i do not know if i really need it either.
Aerodactyl also covers Heracross´s weaknesses pretty well for switch-ins.

Aegislash @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 100 SpA / 156 SpD
Quiet Nature
- Flash Cannon
- Shadow Ball
- King's Shield
- Wide Guard

pretty standard aegislash, covering some weaknesses and providing coverage.

Lanturn @ Assault Vest
Ability: Volt Absorb
Level: 50
EVs: 28 HP / 228 Def / 28 SpA / 220 SpD / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
- Icy Wind
- Ice Beam
- Scald
- Thunderbolt

needed some defense and something that could handle electric moves, thought of milotic and rotom-w as well but i really like how lanturn is working with this team, so I kept him in.

Sylveon @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Pixilate
Level: 50
EVs: 56 HP / 200 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Protect

standard sylveon, Hp fire though to cover steel and grass types a little better.

Let me know what you think Smile

you can never have enough wide guard Kappa but in all seriousness now he doesnt have to rely on bringing 1 pokemon to battle and has a little bbit of variety

I not sure about that too. I thought about sub on Aegislash or maybe taunt on Aerodactyl, but since I do not bring both of them every time I think I might need it on both. Until now it worked out quite well and they can cover each other with wide guard as well, also some people really do not expect wide guard on aerodactyl I feel.
