That's why you have team mates that carry super effective hits against Grass types. In the case you can't get a Forest Curse off, you're stuck with a weak non-STAB attack (Poison Jab, X-Scissor etc.) whereas if you have Wood Hammer, you have a strong STAB attack to pull off
