SD Cards for 2DS XL

Does anyone know if the 2DS XL can take this kind of SD card
the site says the 2ds can use one like this, but I am unsure if this includes the 2DS XL

Why would they even go from SD to MicroSD? MicroSD cards are annoying, smaller (size and capacity) and end up getting lost. The easiest way to check though would be to look at the size of the SD slot. If it's not tiny then a normal SD card will probably work.
