[S/M] QUESTION FOR SUMO SHINY BREEDERS

Hi guys I very much enjoy shiny hunting through Masuda in generation 6 and recently got a copy of Moon. My question is breeding faster and more convenient in gen 7?

Knowing that with the implementation of Pokemon Pelago, ability to swap in eggs therefore not having to deposit newly hatched babies in the PC, and the ability to check IVs easily.

However the road near the nursery takes more time to get to and shorter? And O Powers is removed. So does that even out or generation 7 is better for breeding?

Honestly, just running around in circles on Tauros is faster than the path. And the IV checker in the box saves so much time. I would say 7 is better.
