Almost everyone in the meta game use that pokemon, so you should use pokemon who counters your team (as Snowygrass said, there are the most used pokemon), something like:

Xerneas: AEGISLASH, BRONZONG, M-MAWILE...(Pokemon extremly bulky and powerful)

M-Rayquaza:ARTICUNO (I can´t think of one better, because rayquaza´s ability when megaevolve protects the flying type of Articuno, and his Ice type can still hit hard the Dragon type of Rayquaza)

Smeargle: M-DIANCIE, GENGAR, SCRAFTY... (Anything with Taunt or Prankster, with taunt Smeargle is literally useless)

RotomW: KYUREM, ZEKROM, CHLOROPHYLL VENUSAUR... (Anything that can deal a high special damage)

LandorusT: ARTICUNO, CRESSELIA, HP ICE THUNDURUS... (Pokemon who can make an ice move AND he/she needs to be very bulky or very fast)

Aegislash: KLEFKI, DARKRAI, BISHARP, SMEARGLE, SWAMPERT...(Prankster, shadow sneaker, whirlwind moveset or a tank)

Of course, you can always keep one or two of these popular pokemon, but it is not that good if you have them all.

For the primal pokemon, almost everybody uses Kyogre, so you can use Groudon. Just when the other guy sends Kyogre, on the next turn change to Groudon and his ability will have 100% chance to work over Kyogre´s one.

Anyways, your whale-cum
