the new3ds

I was wondering if the new 3ds will have the same wifi as the 3ds out now I'm getting a 3ds for xmas and was wondering if its a good idea as I'm not in a rush to get the new one does anyone know if the normal 3ds still be on the same wifi by then and not be like the old ds and cut the wifi off?

They are both connecting to the same server and this server isn't going down anytime soon. DS server was on for like ever and then got cut and this because the fan base moved over to 3DS. Nothing to worry about.

So its still worth getting a normal 3ds then still?

The new 3ds has a few enhancements for some newer games, but that's about it. You can already but a circle pad pro attachment which is virtually the same, so I don't really feel like the new 3ds is all that special.
