I guess its good they delayed it till january, gives people a chance to explore and enjoy gen 7 without rushing through it by trading over your already powerful pokemon to carry yourself :P

I'm still not convinced. People say that it being held until January will stop people from hacking pokemon into the game but that's happening already. I myself don't see a problem with that but I'm still bitter I have to wait >.>

Really wish there was less of a delay until the Bank update. After finishing the bulk of the game this past weekend I want to get started breeding and EV training, but really don't want to grind out the Ditto and breeding items again...
