Assault Vest can help Conk take a couple Psyshocks or Psychics from full Sp. ATK Cress. It's not the best counter, but it's not the worst either.
My conkeldurr is assult so ill take care of cress :D

everyone in vgc is running relaxed [+def] cress at the moment because cress's biggest threat is live orb bisharp
and thats only IF you get a guts boost.
there are better options for taking down cress. b/c the whole time your struggling to 3 or 4 hit KO it your opponent will have another pokemon attacking freely

It doesn't make a difference.

VS Relaxed Cress
It's a decent chunk out of its HP. Not the best counter, like I said, but not the worst either. Nothing is going to outright wipe the floor with Cress.

cress will KO conk before conk KO's cress.
common ev spread psyshock from cress will 2 hit KO max hp conkeldurr
also sitrus berry is the most common item on cress making it even harder for conk to take it down before fainting itself
i agree robin cress is op!
