Originally I had said that the challenger could switch between singles and doubles as doubles is more on the comp side and singles the "traditional" gym battle. I see where youre coming from and can change it. @PerchPond
EDIT: does your reference to the VGC 2018 ruleset imply that that is the format we will be using?

These are my current team thoughts:
Infernape {ACE}, Talonflame, Turtonator, Salazzle, Quilava, Camurupt (Mega?), Incineroar, and the final position is either Volcarona, A.Marowak or Darmanitan. Leaning towards Belly-Drum Darmanitan.

@Dova @PerchPond What about we go Liza and Tate style and have League Members who specifically play doubles, like Retro for example?

I guess if you wanted me to be a trial captain, or a gym leader, I'd be okay with that. Probably a trial captain, and it'd probably involve showing my trial-goers how to breed their team members. I'd also probably have a lot of egg moves and stats on my team that you can only get through breeding to show them the value of knowing how to breed your pokémon.
