Celebi moveset - SnowdustWolf - Mar 12, 2016
Hello all!
As you are all aware, Celebi has been released. I have received mine but I have yet to receive it from the Pokemon Center person. I'm wondering what set I should give it. I don't know what natures/EVs/Moves to use.
I was thinking...
1.
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature (Maybe Jolly max speed instead of defence?)
- Seed Bomb
- Zen Headbutt
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass
Some variation of this (feel free to suggest a different nature/EVs)
2.
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Giga Drain
- Psychic
- Nasty Plot
- Baton Pass
A more offensive set. (Maybe earth Power? Dazzling Gleam? Cunfusion xD?)
3.
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Something
- Thunder Wave?
- Leech Seed
How it would have been used in gen 2 - Stall. It would be cool to use a gen 2 legendary how it would have been used back in the day. (Albeit with natures. And A limited amount of EVs. And more moves. And a physical/Special split. And more items to give a pokemon.)
Those are the general ideas I was going with. Could anyone with experience point me in the right direction? This is an opportunity I won't get to repeat so I really don't want to mess this up.
Of course, feel free to suggest another set

The given EV spread and a Bold nature maximize Celebi's overall bulk, notably avoiding the 2HKO from Adamant Mega Lopunny's Return after Stealth Rock damage while outspeeding Adamant Bisharp to escape its Pursuit with Baton Pass or cripple it with Thunder Wave.
