Competitive Snorlax? - adroitxassassin - May 19, 2016

Okay, so I'm starting to get into competitive training/battling. I searched for a snorlax moveset (it's my favorite Pokémans) on here, and didn't see one.

I know this site isn't the end all, be all for comptetitive builds, but I figured it might speak to a larger point.

Is Snorlax viable in competitive?

I figured I would start a discussion where people could voice their thoughts. I'm not anywhere close to an expert on these matters. I'm barely noob-level.

Thanks, ya'll!

You can always look at http://www.smogon.com/dex/xy/pokemon/ for competitive movesets. If you don't find the tier you're looking for, you can look at http://www.smogon.com/stats/ which gives you the usage stats and movesets. Snorlax is very viable in competitive play, I'm definitely going to use him in the Johto Classic.

@Excalibur0126
Thank you very much! I'll definitely take a look!
I've been looking for a ditto for breeding, and I want to breed a team with the correct IV's and of course EV train and stuff.
Like I said above, I'm completely starting fresh with all of this stuff. Haha.
I would register for the johto classics (Johto/Gen 2 are actually my favorite series of Pokémon games), but I doubt I would be able to raise a team and figure out a complete strategy in time.

Snorlax is viable in every tier in Singles outside of Ubers. Commonly runs a Curse, Body Slam, Rest, Sleep Talk set but it can run some other fun stuff like Belly Drum Custap Berry Self Destruct with Gluttony ability, Choice Band, Stockpile and more
