I just caught Rayquaza in ORAS's delta episode in two balls, and I caught Mesprit in a permier ball.
Catch any legendaries in a Pokeball?
I've also caught Dialga and Palkia within 2 balls in Platinum, and I caught Zapdos first ball in HeartGold.

i caught shiny azelf and uxie on my first and second try in a timer ball and reshiram on fourth premier ball however kyurem took 27 failed attempt breaking out of 18 premier ball and 9 luxury balls

Rayquaza is made to be easy to catch in ORAS... You need it for the story.
I catched Ho-Oh with a premier ball after spending like 30 ultra balls...

I threw an Ultra Ball and caught a Yveltal when it was at yellow health :p Also I'm pretty sure I caught Reshiram in one premier ball at full health. And Cobalion

I usually try to catch my legendaries in pokeballs because I don't like the design of most pokeballs :p

I have a Heatran in a Premier Ball, and got the three Regis, Virizion, Cobalion, and Reshiram in Poké Balls
