Hello everyone nice to meet u, well i started playing pokemon Y 3days ago, and wondering what IV and EV is, and voila i find this forum.
Please bear with my stupid question :p ... and once again nice to meet u guys.

EV's are Effort Values. You can have 252 max in one pokemon's stat. Like 252 speed etc. You can have a max 510 EV's on a pokemon. A pokemon with full Iv's from what I know has 31 in each stat by level 1. If a pokemon has 2 Iv's, 31 in 2 stats.
