I second this. Also if you want team suggestions you can always check out usage stats at http://jake-white.github.io/Battlespotspecial/ or http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/vgc-2016-viability-rankings-v2-worlds-edition.3580592/
Also, checking out youtubers such as Cybertron and Wolfe Glicke is a good idea since they do laddering series which mainly consists of VGC 16 battling

You just check a box that says add poll in the options when you make a new thread.
