Can you still get regular Raichu? - Noodles - Nov 23, 2016
I have a pikachu that I want to evolve to Raichu in sun and moon.Im wondering if that when it evolve would I get alolan raichu or would I get regular Riachu?And if it evolves to alolan Riachu is there any way to just get the regular one?

Seeing as both Raichu evolve by a thunder stone, and Pikachu automatically turns into Alola Raichu, the only way to get a normal Raiichu is most likely by transferring them into the game from an older version once the PokeBank is up.

if you use thunder stone in Alola Region for pikachu. it will evolve to Alolan Raichu.
Out of Alola Region. Normal Raichu..

Guess the quesiton is more like "Is there a region in Alola outside of Alola to evolve Pikachu?"
Because I haven't tried to use a thunder stone in the aether paradise.

Can confirm it will still be an Alola Raichu, we'll have to wait until the Pokebank is available in January.
