Help w/ Masuda Method is Black/White - MajesticMamoswine - Sep 21, 2017 Hello everybody! I have recently decided to get back into hunting in Gen. 5, but wanted to do something different than random encounters. I decided I would like to use Masuda Method in Gen. 5, but quickly realized I had no access to Japanese Pokemon. I asked a friend of mine that has access to powersaves/PKSM, if he could inject an event Pokemon from Japan into my game (I would rather have this than a striaght up hacked 'mon). When I received the gift from the deliveryman in Black, I noticed it had an English name. The event Pokemon was a Cubhoo. The OT is Japanese but the name is still "Cubchoo" in Enlgish. Would this Pokemon work for M.M.? I have no way of being certain it is a Japanese Pokemon. All I know is that it was an event from Japan only, and it has a Japanese O.T. Thanks a lot for your help in advance! -MajesticMamoswine RE: Help w/ Masuda Method is Black/White - moo311 - Sep 21, 2017 I think you should be fine. The game just makes the name match your region.
