do these need to come fromm old gen gold silver or vc gold silver or heartgold or soulsilver or can also be from sun moon or ultra moon etc ?

Any region is fine as long as legit shiny!
What I meant by origin is that whether they got it by gts, trade or caught or bred
I am looking for legit shines so I am only looking for those Pokemon with origins that have higher chances of legitimacy such as breeding and catching

ah, so they can be caught from any game as long as they are jothjo mons and selfcaught ?

If they traded it from someone trustworthy for legit shinies it is also okay
