trainers eye (areanav) - Lesserdragon - Jan 19, 2015
Hey guys, so I'm trying to get my destiny knot on ORAS. Is there anything I can do to speed up the process of re - battling the couple on sea mauville? Like is it based on steps or do I just leave the area and come back? Or is it random?

I think its random, you have to be patience (I obtained it until the 11 time) sometimes you can obtain faster like at the 4-5 time but if you want it faster maybe you should try this options

Once you register, you can go to the Pokemileage club and exchange your Pokemiles for items in the shop or use them to play easy little games (like click 15 balloons as fast as you can) to win items.

Just save before you enter and soft reset the game man! I did that and it only took me about 10 soft resets before I got it

Vous is right about this one, if you soft reset the game. The randomizer might change the outcome after each battle and give you the destiny knot.
