Grass knot Mega Gyrados. Dark Pulse/Earthquake Gengar and Pachirisu. Ice beam Garchomp. The usual Rotom Tbolt on Talonflame. The real KO factor is that exploud In my opinion. RE: Doubles team for VGC - Kingboo421 - Nov 15, 2014 Thanks for your opinion :D But i seem to have dealt with these kind of things pretty well before. My volt absorb pachirisu and garchomp can stop electric moves (pachirisu has follow me). I can 1 hit greninja with priority brave bird. i can usually avoid ice beam on garchomp. My pachirisu can take a ton of hits too, quite bulky with follow me however, as u mentioned, a rotom and eqers can be a problem. Mega gyarados has mold breaker earthquake if need be (for rotom) and my exploud can 2 hit any rotom with STAB boomburst. I also have talonflame and a normal gengar to switch in for EQers. But things wont always go to plan and they are still weaknesses xD. thanks for the reply! RE: Doubles team for VGC - tygaa2 - Nov 16, 2014 Choice Specs Exploud can be a very powerful Pokemon. However, without any pokmeon on your team with the soundproof or telepathy ability it can make your play predictable. When you are choice locked into boom burst your opponent will know you are protecting your other Pokemon that turn and double target into Exploud. Exploud is a base 68 speed Pokemon so it will be common to be up against two pokmeon that outspeed it.
