[ORAS] Best for Solo Run?

Hey guys!
I'm trying to decide what Pokemon is best to solo run with. I've done my fair research with Google and most people say it's Mudkip. Anyone got any ideas? Appreciate it!

If you mean with a starter, Mudkip line is pretty nice. Other, breed an egg from one game and send it to your game file.

Mudkip is very nice and gets it done quicker than torchic. This being because Torchic needs correct everything before it becomes a serious threat.
