Is flamethrower viable for machoke/machamp?

I was looking at my machoke's moveset and i know it's sp. attack sucks but would it be usable?

@TheDancingRoserade No, because even if we put aside this Pokémon's horrible special attack, the main targets of fire moves are Steel, Ice (which are covered by the fighting STAB) and Grass (which you can run Ice Punch for since it also helps against fat grounds such as Hippowdon or Landorus-T), and thus Flamethrower is pretty much useless in every scenario.

For a troll set it'd make more sense to run Fire Blast Machamp with Choice Specs. It really only hits stuff like Foretress for considerable damage, otherwise you're better off just using a fully physical set
