I was wondering if cloned pokemon are usable to battle online, or are they "detected" to be cloned and not allowed?

as long as the original pokemon is legal all the clones are legal they cant detect cloned pokemon

As long as it's done right, a genned or cloned Pokemon is impossible to get detected and is completely safe to use

Obviously though if you and a buddy are using a Tapu with the same OT it's highly suspect.
