It definitely looks like it could be a steel/fairy. Like a Klingklang and a Diancie fusion. Maybe it gets shift gear? That would be AWESOME :)
Also, Volcanion, being a water/fire type, would resist the fairy STAB and quad-resist the steel STAB. Could make for an interesting battle.
