SergeantAnbu woke me up from my slumber. Apparently, I fell into a deep sleep after eating, like always. I smelled a faint but familiar scent, and asked the team if they know where it's from. Adamant showed me an empty box of max repel, then pointed to the zubats at the ceiling of the cave. The zubats got disturbed (did I snore?) and attacked us. The team had no reason to engage in a fight, so they just used the repel instead. Hmm so that's why they are camped far from me, they don't like the smell too. *Lol*
The team continued the research while I was asleep. Anbu copied the dots in dirt, and now that I can see it as a whole, it's easier to decode. They separated the codes on the back wall and under water. Unlike these codes, the patterns in the stone tablets are unique from each other. These are likely to be the key to solving the mystery. There are 28 different patterns, but only 26 letters in the alphabet. I still tried the alphabet route anyway, since I didn't see the last two patterns anywhere else, and deciphered the messages. The one under water said, "GO UP HERE", while the one on the back of the wall said "DIG HERE".
I asked Anbu to dig in front of the northern wall. The wall opened and Anbu called us from inside. There were rock pillars telling a story of how they lived in these caves with a pokemon, that they sealed away out of fear. I like the last part of the message as it is promising
At the northern side of the room, a message "FIRST COMES RELICANTH. LAST COMES WAILORD." I didn't understand what it meant. After trying a few things (digging, forcing the wall open, etc.), I was all out of ideas and entertained some that didn't make sense. I asked the team to fall in line with Granmap as lead and 3-7 at the back. The team gave me confused looks. I knocked on the wall, and asked "Can my team come in please?". When nothing happened the team and I gave a hearty laugh. But after a few seconds, the ground shook, and I swear I heard a door opened.
I told the team to be ready for battle as the four regis may appear anytime soon. The ground shook a couple more times, and we heard another two doors opened. The zubats inside flew out to the outer cave. I was expecting an ambush from the four regis, and frankly I was scared. We stood there silently, only the heavy pumping of our hearts can be heard. The ground stopped shaking but we still were. My palms were sweating and I almost freaked out when Adamant hid behind my legs.
And then, nothing.
Nothing happened. We didn't see any regis. We sighed in relief and I said that maybe the regis are elsewhere. We went out of the cave and returned to our secret base. (my secret team weren't there initially though)
There I declared the Operation:Regis a failure. It's sad but we can't do a thing about it.
Yet, we sealed that Pokemon away, alone in the dark.
We feared it.

If you have the courage, if you still hold to hope,
Open the door. For beyond it the eternal Pokemon awaits.
