@0kamii , yep Whitney was the most frustrating trainer I've battled
When I played pokemon Heartgold for the first time , Whitney defeated me a lot of times even though I've used a ton of retrives and super potions , I had a team of quilava , noctowl , ariados and corsola .
Even though corsola was my most bulky mon , Whitney's milktank spammed rollout and each turn it took out my mons one by one.
Eventually I trained up my mons to a much higher level than Whitney's mons and finally defeated her by using this strategy
For Whitney's clefairy , I used quilava's flame wheel to inflict damage and to get a burn and dig to avoid clafairy's double slap.
For her milktank , I used my Noctowl and spammed hypnosis and confuse ray while also using fly and when my noctowl was defeated my ariados poisoned her milktank by using toxic after her milktank have woken up.
When ariados was done , I just spammed recover on my corsola while waiting her monstrous milktank to die due to toxic
*sighs* Revenge is sweet
