[OUTDATED] [Singles] Alolan Ninetales Moveset - Offensive (Set-Up Sweeper/Utility)

Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Nasty Plot
- Moonblast
- Freeze-Dry
A SubLefties set could even work as well as Leftovers allows Ninetales to heal off the passive damage it takes every time it switches in on entry hazards, especially Stealth Rock and with Ninetales' typing, it'll be switching like crazy especially with Mega Scizor/Metagross having Bullet Punch to always one shot it before it can even attack. Ninetales also has some interesting coverage options such as Dark Pulse and Psyshock which can be used to pick off specific Pokemon but the Ice/Fairy STAB combination will work most of the time anyway. And yes, Snow Cloak over Snow Warning because the residual damage from Snow Warning can backfire on your team
The Nasty Plot set does work though I don't see much reason for HP Fire when STAB Blizzard does even more damage to Skarmory and Celesteela and Scizor isn't dying to a Hidden Power Fire unless it's +2 and even then, no one is hard switching into a +2 Ninetales under hail. HP Fire is a good lure for Ferrothorn to OHKO but Blizzard does OHKO at +2 after chip damage
+2 252 SpA Life Orb Ninetales-Alola Blizzard vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 259-305 (73.5 - 86.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock and 3 layers of Spikes
I can't say much about the Encore set though
