I don't really know how to do links but there ya go. Point is, if you have a 3DS that is modified (or gen, idk), you will be at risk. There are also reports that say that their 3DSes got banned without any modifications, though some sites say that they are not sure if that is true. and it's the whole console internet ban (all of you probably know this). This is (kinda?) recent, so anyone who are planning to do any giveaways that have Hacked/Cloned Pokemon should lay low for a while, as it may be still in effect. If you didn't hack your 3DS, you MIGHT be fine. Like I said, there are reports of unmodded 3DSes getting banned, and the sites say that whether this is true or not, is unknown. "The length of time Nintendo will be issuing these bans is unknown, so be safe " Yeah, so if you don't want to be banned, play it safe, and steer clear. and here's a word from GameSpace:
"We can only wait for Nintendo's deeper investigation into the matter and following response ." So you should also wait for a while. And the Pokemon Create! post and a few other announcements in the links say that you should turn off Spotpass and Wireless Communications. Well, I don't know if this works, but those posts do have some info.
