Are fangames posts allowed?

I assume fangame posts would go in "Other Games Discussions" and "Everything else thread" since there are is no Fangame / ROM Mods / Hacks thread on the main pages. 

Are fan games allowed? I know they're very popular, but of course there's the copyright considerations many sites have. Just posting to find out, since I'd enjoy sharing a related finished project that the community would enjoy.

@BellBlitzKing This place is for all things Pokemon so I can only assume that it would be allowed. ( As long as its not illegal, offensive or highly inappropriate anything is allowed within reason)
