Finding Spiritomb

Is it possible to find other players in the Sinnoh underground after Nintendo shut down the online capabilities for DS games. I really want Spiritomb and I need to know if I can find other players in the underground so I can encounter Spiritomb.

Nintendo should just cut down internet for old DS instead of old DS games, then we could play online in our old games.

it still works via local connecting with someone else through the underground. but it only works if one of you LEAVE and RE-ENTER again the underground, then chat! only then will it work (:
