Why did I name the guild Amethyst 0mega? Two reasons, but two and a half more like.
1) Amethyst is my birthstone, and 1.5) by extension purple has always been my favorite color
and -
2) 'Omega' is a term denoting something that comes last. It's also a word that means a lot to me personally for reasons that would take FAR too long to explain here. My breeding guild is intended to be the LAST place people go looking for help with their projects, so the word had a double meaning. The zero in '0mega' was just because my username is spelled with a zero instead of an O.

So I guess the answer is that amethyst and omega are two very personal aspects of my personality, and when combined, make something I'm proud to share!
