Looking for advice.

I started my OR version over again.   I have all eight badges, captured Groudon.   So the world is enriched with more pokemon.  

My query is should I capture pokes (I have only caught for my team) or beat the E4 first?

I am not sure how my team matters.  I can either going against the E4 or catch others.   Which, of course, is overpowered for the early routes, like 101 which has Zorua, Lillipup and sewaddle.  Pretty much throw a pokeball and catch it.

But if it makes you feel better...

I also got an Ivysaur out of my bank since it has sleep powder.

My opinion is beat the E4 first. It's not really thaaaaaat hard

Complete the main story aka beat the E4+Champion as you'all have access to better battling items and stuff postgame.

Okay, I guess I'll do that.   Plus gives me more money for pokeballs.
