Build

Steelix @ Steelixite
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 124 HP / 180 Atk / 80 Def / 124 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Ice Fang
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake

This set is a Steelix that i think would be nice. I tried to make it a lead pokemon that can set up rocks and also kill whatever is in front of it. Mega Steelix in general is an amazing mega. It can take hits like a boss thanks to its amazing Defense stat and it can pack a puch to those pesky Breloom leads.

i not really experience enough to rate it properly but stealth rocks seems like a wasted move in doubles where switches are rarer as opposed to singles. Other than that its quite hard to say as i don't really know how well steelix will fit in with drain punch being more common due to the move tutor.

Honestly I think mega steelix needs protect instead of stealth rocks because to what evilsabre said entry hazards won't be seen in a 4v4 doubles format. You might want to give steelix protect for stealth rocks and change ice fang for rock slide since it will provide coverage against the therians or incarnate trio.

Ill take off the Stealth Rocks. I agree they were just a place holder but i have ice fang on it for those pesky garchomps and probable some salamances to now. Perhaps the stealth rocks will be rock slide now. Thanks for the suggestions.
