Insane Cradily strat

Cradily is probably my favorite wall in the game. It has amazing def/Sp.def. And if you remember my Torkoal Stratagy, you may remember that Torkoal won't survive against special water pokemon. With storm drain, Cradily is the perfect counter for Water types. And a nice anti rain team.

Moveset:
Stockpile
Recover
Giga drain
Ancient Power.

Item@Leftovers

EV spead is 252 HP and any combanation of Def. Sp.Def

How to use:
If you run the Torkoal i shared a while ago, it is the perfect bate to lure out a Hydro pump or scald, Etc. The storm drain will activate and you can gain x2 Sp.Attack. You can also use Cradily to absorb Thunder waves because Cradily isn't looking to out speed anything. After you get the switch in, it might be a good Idea to start to become Unstoppable by spamming Stockpile. If you get taunted then you might try to take your chances by using Anceint power. It's a little risky but it's worth a shot. If you end up getting 3 Stockpiles, then nothing can hurt you. Giga drain and Recover for sustain, and leftovers to gain a little more. Also another great counter to Talonflame with the ancient power. Hope you like it.

Naitre just made a post about how to format your build submissions to get them moved to the Builds Section and found in the Search Index. You can find that post HERE. Thanks for submitting! Heart

Look friend, Toxic and Taunt is all it takes to shut down this strategy. Also, most Water types if not all tend to carry Ice moves which hit Cradily for super effective damage so your only option is to retaliate with Giga Drain. Storm Drain gives you a 1.5x boost (+1) to your Special Attack by the way.

The way Cradily works is if it doesn't get the stockpiles set up, if it keeps getting paralyzed by Thunder Waves, you can jump in and set up right in its face and 6-0 someones team since Cradily has piss poor offensive capabilities.

252+ Atk Life Orb Hariyama Close Combat vs. +3 252 HP / 252 Def Cradily: 88-109 (45.5 - 56.4%) -- 69.5% chance to 2HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Magneton Flash Cannon vs. +3 252 HP / 252 SpD Cradily: 66-80 (34.1 - 41.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Even at +3 defenses, Cradily still takes a massive hit meaning that all its going to be doing is sitting down and playing stall games, wasting people's time and killing the batteries on people's PC/3DS.

All I'm saying is that if you plan to make a wall like Cradily, it'd make more sense to run things like Mirror Coat, Toxic, Bind, Block and Rest over Ancient Power and Giga Drain. All this set does is try to make Cradily take on two jobs ineffectively instead of doing one job at its best.

By the way, where is the suggested nature?
