[ORAS] trainers eye (areanav)

Hey guys, so I'm trying to get my destiny knot on ORAS. Is there anything I can do to speed up the process of re - battling the couple on sea mauville? Like is it based on steps or do I just leave the area and come back? Or is it random?

I think its random, you have to be patience (I obtained it until the 11 time) sometimes you can obtain faster like at the 4-5 time but if you want it faster maybe you should try this options

Just save before you enter and soft reset the game man! I did that and it only took me about 10 soft resets before I got it

Vous is right about this one, if you soft reset the game. The randomizer might change the outcome after each battle and give you the destiny knot.
