[RATE MY TEAM] [BSD] Hope for Life! A Fossil Flower Blooms in Trick Room.
#1
Hi guys i m back with another team, this was meant to be p by Sunday but i just kept experimenting the team myself to get fully used to it's mechanics and be able to write an in depth RMT on it, hopefully i put together enough text here and you all are able understand and give me some advice on the team, let's get started:

Team Building Process:
So firstly i was looking to replace my current team and came across a lileep and i wanted to use it (how idiotic!!!one11) i listed down it's capabilities and came with the trio of camerupt, tyranitar and cresselia to use a trick room mode and then locked up it with thundurus and virizion. so i had a mixed t-tar, camerupt stood the same back and now, same with cress and then i had pain split, SD lileep with safeguard virizion to pair up with thundurus for taunt which was essential things.
Then after tons of practicing i changed these mons to the rotom from thundurus on the team team, whence i saw some major misunderstandings b/w the likes of on-paper and in game for the betterment of the team, some movesets also changed and i'll explain later in-depth why.

Lileep @ Eviolite
Ability: Storm Drain
Level: 50
EVs: 228 HP / 140 Def / 140 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Giga Drain
- Toxic
- Protect
- Sunny Day

So i'll discuss lileep first, it was gonna be camerupt here but as to go with the title and most of the guys interested lileep had to come first. so let me clear this off that lileep provides a supporting role for this team other than any means of offense. and also the thing i got asked the most while practicing with this team, why not cradily over lileep? the problem with cradily beame it's bulk, since i wasn't using lileep for any offense and wanted it's presence on the field longer i opted for the bulkier variant (eviolite lileep). now to come up with what it brought against the metagame storm drain punished any water types on my opponents side limiting their options, lileep is the best counter to rain team especially with sunny day, as comes giga drain it gets of really good damage on bulky waters especially doing but tons to gastrodon and swampert both of which are problematic for this team. toxic came with alot of thought after i kept losing to CM cress nd it's childish annoying recoveries, toxic also covered up for lileep when it's trapped against the wall in the late game and proves it's worth. the spread is simple and withstands tons of attacks. Lileep also makes a fantastic synergetic pair up with camerupt on the field inside trick room. lileep also helps n crocking my own t-tar's weakness policy inside TR so that it lands like a beast. lileep also gets great defensive cover from t-tar's sandstorm.

Cresselia @ Mental Herb
Ability: Levitate
Level: 50
EVs: 220 HP / 128 Def / 28 SpA / 132 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Ice Beam
- Psyshock
- Helping Hand

Now we should be started on cresselia, cresselia is the pokemon of leads on this team, my most common or just say 95% of the lead combinations include cresselia in them, cresselia binds together this team with her supportive potential. cresselia's EV'ing and moveset drives this team to victory. mental herb is the item of choice for me as thundurus and basically any taunt users get very real in my opponent's side and assure the set-up of trick room most of the time. Cresselia's EV'ing allows her to outspeed my tyranitar under tr (somethign i'll explain why i mention this) it's bulk takes 2 shadow balls from an aegislash, bisharp's knock off and d-pulse from hydreigon (the usual stuffz) ikr that i make a waste of EV's here but nobody wants to run speed on cress (especially in TR). as now for the moveset TR goes with the whole team, psyshock and ice beam were both important regarding dealing damage to things like conk, mence, landorus, etc. and then helping hand was like the best support move ever, considering i had bulky picks on the offensive sides and spread moves like eruption and RS sometimes rotom could also use a helping hand from her.

Camerupt-Mega @ Cameruptite
Ability: Solid Rock
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 8 Spe
- Protect
- Flamethrower
- Eruption
- Earth Power

Next i the best mega pokemon so far in trick room, mega camerupt literally puts in soo much work and it's such an amazing pokemon that you haven't discovered yet. fire being one of the best offensive types and ground type combination adding to it makes it lethal when used correctly. it is true that it requires alot of support but it's worth giving it that much love on the team. To be honest i choose mega camerupt as the mega of my new team with the thought of using lileep in a trick room team, i knew lileep had the potential to back it up perfectly with it's storm drain ability and the move sunny day i give to it.  choose it's moveset as is to maximize my chances of reliability on it. flamethrower is all power and accuracy over h-wave, earth power rids of things it couldn't otherwise, many people will expect ancient power as the third move i keep eruption wanna know why? so some of you guys may be familiar with the TR setter + Cemrupt lead, with camerupt usually using protect and then attack on the second turn of TR being the fastest variant right? so i kept that lead into my mind. i'll do the same but then on the next turn i'll pull out a helping hand boosted eruption from full hp and u can imagine how powerful that would be, so that's my reaso for eruption, alot of other times i used eruption on the first turn (without TR) expecting my opponent to double up on cress which backfired in only two in alot of matches. cameurupt reaches a special speed stat from such speed EV's which makes lileep outspeed it inside TR so that it can use sunny day and camerupt can comfortably land a sun-boosted fire type attack.another fun fact about it's speed s that my camerupt will outspeed 0 IV amoonguses before TR on the turn i mega evolve and after it gets it's m-evolution speed (reduced), often leading cress and camerupt against an amoongus, camerupt was always faster and ensured an OHKO on amoonguss'.

Tyranitar @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Sand Stream
Level: 50
EVs: 236 HP / 180 Atk / 20 Def / 68 SpD / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rock Slide
- Assurance
- Superpower
- Protect

Tyranitar gets discussed next and first off i'd say it is just an amazing pokemon inside trick room. now u guys may freak out as i said an amazing pokemon inside trick room as you see those EV's, so let's just dive into this weird looking spread with actual speed investments, the inspiration for this spread came from Collin Heier's nationals team where he used an assurance tyranitar to synergize with cresselia and the rest of his team. i needed my tyranitar to outspeed my cresselia inside trick room such EV's conquer the purpose, Collin ran a -84 Speed stat because he was running mixed t-tar, i wasn't so i gave it adamant and distributed the rest to bulk. now i did said before that i was also running mixed t-tar it was to rid of lando when i had thundurus, now with the prob fixed with rotom-w i could use a super power in kang situations while inside TR, it helps out alot. now more with assurance inside tr camerupt, cress and lileep pairing helps with it and outside rotom and virizion do the trick, sandstorm is also great to get that sash break on certain pokemons.

Rotom-Wash @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Levitate
Level: 50
EVs: 236 HP / 8 Def / 128 SpA / 4 SpD / 132 Spe
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Protect
- Will-O-Wisp
- Thunderbolt

Rotom-w is a simple way of pushing through outside of TR, rotom was replaced over thundurus to cover up my problems against genies and basically landorus being a big threat to the whole of this team, rotom also brought my second ground immunity which was kinda essential regarding 2x ground weaknesses. Rotom is a mon that i have experience using and loved it here. this also gave rise to a lead that Cybertron used back in 2013, which was mainly for control, i did saw myself leading these two to get into a better position and it worked out with tons of possibilities on this tea. bisharp is very annoying for the whole of this team, so why not counter it? will-o-wisp is here mainly to eradicate the danger of any bisharp for cresseilia who did huge damage back to her of let go. Ev spread is kept simple for bisharp creeping. rotom further helps with landorus' threat and goes well against thundurus (geni duo counter)

Virizion @ Expert Belt
Ability: Justified
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Leaf Blade
- Protect
- Taunt

Viriozion came the last on this team and is used the least, i still do have some regrets from this pick but it comes clutch when needed and is kinda-ish the right pokemon for this slot on this team. so the thought process of virizion was basically to keep a hard counter to kangaskhan, which virizion conquers with it's close combat. the second reason was to use a taunt user and catch people off guard with it so it becomes great against the CHALK lead of kangaskhan + amoonguss against my team which can be pretty strong. i choose virizion out of cobalion and terrakion because i didn't wanted to have a third ground weakness, though cobalion's iron head could banish any fairies off the field, but camerupt handles those well too. the Expert belt's choice came with all of tyranitar, the sandstorm would break sash and with life orb i'd take out myself in most situations and it was annoying to deal with that.

NOTE: Not adding calcs to anything cuz i think i did explain the offensive and defensive benchmarks of everything. (no need to do so)

Oh what to say what to say. I'm sorry I couldn't do this sooner. The whole college thing is kinda taking up my weekdays (minus Friday, but that is Binding of Isaac day, even though I am writing this on a Friday...) Your team makes sense. It seems like a strong team, however, I would put more time into EV training. Most of the time, it won't matter, but on the rare occasion, being just bulky enough to survive [insert the name of a common Pokemon here]'s [insert the name of said Pokemon's attack]. I understand your reasoning for using Lileep over Cradily, but Leftovers on Cradily is nice, and Lileep doesn't get that. I just realized you have an Eruption Camerupt. I love you for that. Now, I'm tired. I can't review something properly just yet.

Could virizion be whimsicott? dat prankster my man, dat prankster. But as a counter to khan.... whimsicott might not work XD.

That being said I like this team, you have a good way of mixing some really "creative guys" with the safe CHALK characters that glue the team together. Just cress in this case so don't miconstrue my comment as hate cause it was props.
