[S/M] I found a shiny pyukumuku on Poke Pelago

so yesterday I found a shiny Pyukumuku in Poke Pelago and i was so happy becuase it was my first shiny in sun and moon then today i went on poke pelago, it was still there so i talked to Pyukumuku then i picked up some beans and then Pyukumuk disappeared    i was heart broken

Just as a note for the future in case you encounter more, you can soft reset your pelago pokes. So if you find one, save after and then reset if it decides to not stay. Just make sure you don't do anything significant before you check next

when i learned you are capable of finding wild shiny pokemon in pokepelago 
as a rule of thumb i started to save everysingle time before i go to pokepelago 

hope this helps you or anybody else avoid losing out on a wild shiny from poke pelago !
