[S/M] PSA: New glitch discovered concerning Poke Pelago

Hi all, I do not know if this is the place to post this, but yesterday a new glitch concerning Poke Pelago has been discovered.

This glitch has not been proven to be malicious as of yet. But apparently when you set the time of your 3DS back to a few minutes before the date goes from Januari 31st to Februari 1st, put your 3DS into sleep mode, and wait for a bit until it's 'the next day', every counter in poke pelago ends, fully growing your berries, making all eggs in the hot spring ready to hatch, etc etc.. 

Setting the time of your 3DS forwards bans you from online activities for 48 hours, however setting it backwards does not seem to do so. Meaning you can keep setting the time back to quickly hatch eggs, get beans, ev-train, search for treasure and all that without risk of losing access to the GTS and such.

This seems to only work when the date goes from Januari 31st to Februari 1st, every other day or month does nothing at all.

More information will be provided once more has been discovered.

Edit: you'll have to put your 3DS in sleep mode while in-game, otherwise it won't work. 

Also, it has been confirmed this glitch works with a 2DS too.

Edit 2: Changing the time and date back from Februari 1st to whatever current time and date it is also does not ban you from online activities. Just make sure to not set the time and date to the future, and don't try to go online while you're doing the glitch.

What if I already set the time backward and I want to reverse it back to the real time. How can I do that?

Just go to your 3DS settings and change the date and time back to what it currently is. Just make sure you don't go online while the time and date are set backwards. This worked for me at least.

I also thought that, so I tried it myself too. Someone else already posted a youtube link, but if that's not satisfactory, I can straight up make a video myself.

This glitch happened to me but I didn't change the time or date of my 3ds

I should clarify that it only happened when the day went from Jan 31st to Feb 1st though

That's correct, the glitch occurs when the time and date change from Januari 31st to Februari 1st. It was discovered because people suddenly had fully grown berries and such when the date changed even though they shouldn't have yet. But manually changing the date back to a few minutes before februari 1st recreates the glitch, meaning you can do it forever.
