[S/M] Pokemon Sun and Moon, Guess who's shiny locked?

Yep, you guessed it, Solgaleo, and lunala, and all the beasts. In my opinion Lunala actually looked pretty cool as a shiny, almost instead of a regular moon, a blood moon eclipse with the gold. Pity, what are your thoughts on the game so far?

I'm loving the game so far, personally.  I kind of wish there were more new pokemon to catch but everything new in the game makes up for that, for the most part.  Does it feel slow starting out for anyone else?

I have a question though regarding the shiny locked legendaries... why is that a thing?  At first glance (to me at least) it just seems like a pointless thing to do, since a lot of people are willing to SR for a chance to get shiny legendaries.  I was really looking forward to going after a shiny Solgaleo

Are they shiny locked but why do they have qr codes? so confusing
