How to get Mat Block on Greninja? - Saiman - Feb 13, 2016
Topic. My research shows it's a L1 greninja move. But it doesn't evolve until L36. So I don't know how to get it.
Unless I cheat with PS and force the move on?

If you have Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby you can go to the guy that reteaches pokemon moves. You should be able to teach Greninja mat block in exhcnage for a heart scale.

There's is an item called heart scale so you can re teach old moves Pokemon can't learn. At fallabor town, there's an NPC who will "trade" heart scales in exchange for this service. Best way to get Heart scales is by fishing luvdisc and using thief to get the Heart Scale. Best do with with a Pokemon with compound eyes like Butterfree.
