It is way to frail to deal with the heavy hitters in this format. Pretty much every spread move can OHKO. And even if it has sash, spread move again and ded. And with the popularity of Kangaskhan, people are prepared for Fake Out. If you want someone with Fake Out AND Encore, do Liepard, it gets priority. Quick Guard is much better on Crobat who gets a lot more support moves, more bulk, and is an all around cool dude.

So basically

N O

What Squeab said, too frail, not strong enough to go into the meta game especially when its weak against 3 of the 4 most used pokemon in the format.

Isn't physical set stronger with feint or close combat?

It's got the same base special attack as it does physical attack, plus Flamethrower doesn't have recoil like Flare Blitz does so it keeps him on the field longer. This set is meant to be a disruptor with Taunt and Encore to lock opponents into bad moves.

but with iron fist as ability, then fire punch, ice punch, and thunderpunch could be good, and it has no recoil

STAB Flamethrower hits harder than STAB Fire Punch, plus Intimidate doesn't affect him.
