Garchomp/Vikabolt Core Team VGC 2017 - Bubbikachu - Jan 15, 2017

Finally got a team together. Can y'all look at it and suggest any improvements or changes. It's a Garchomp/Vilavolt DisQuake Core

Garchomp @ Groundium Z
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 12 HP / 236 Atk / 4 Def / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Poison Jab
I chose Garchomp with a DisQuake using Vikavolt Core in mind. I have it so it hits very hard physically and quickly while sacrificing defense

Vikavolt @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
-Discharge
-Bug Buzz
-Thunder
-Electroweb
I decided that choosing vikavolt to pair as a core support to my Garchomp due to its ability levitate and Garchomp being resistant to electric. So naturally I put in Discharge so I could effectively use Discharge with Earthquake. I designated this as a heavy SpA attacker as it would benefit the most from it.

Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
-Shadow Attack
-Sludge Bomb
-Will-O-Wisp
-Taunt

chose Gengar as a counter to tapus due to a high SpA and Sludge bomb/ shadow ball

Pelipper @ Leftovers
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 224 HP / 252 SpA / 32 Spe
Modest Nature
-Scald
-Ice beam
-Roost
-Hurricane

Included pelipper as a drizzle/Tarain setup so vikavolt can benefit from the rain as well as Whiscash

Whiscash @ (no idea what item)
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 SpD
Jolly Nature
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge

Ninetales-Alolan @ (no idea what item)
Ability: Snow warning
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
-Nasty Plot
-Blizzard
-Moonblast
-Hidden Power

@Bubbikachu Please review the guidelines listed down here. Since you didn't provide much significant information on the team, will only say what I see. First off, most of your Pokemon like Garchomp, Ninetales, Whiscash, Pelipper, etc (well if not all of them), need to have the move "Protect" since its prevents them from being knocked out at a critical junction in the battle and gains better positioning. Consider reviewing which moves your mons need the most for Protect as its can help you not get fully swept in battle. Again provide descriptions on yout teams as we can't futher help you.
