I want to mod my Pokémon Y to have different music, a different story and different Pokémon etc, however my 3DS is on the latest firmware and all types of Homebrew won't work for me. Is there any options outside of buying an old 3DS because I can't afford to get one.

Sadly, the only way to get cfw is to have a ds with cfw already on it.
