[ORAS] Mega Evolution Ideas Forum

Hey guys, when X and Y first introduced mega evolution it really changed the game of pokemon for years to come. Personally I have a lot of ideas for Megalutions in the future and I want to know if you guys have some as well. Tell the Ability, Stat change, and typing (if necessary) and give a reason why.

Rules:
100 stat points to work with
Can not use a pokemon that already has a mega
No Mega Legendaries

Here is an example

Mega Flygon Bug/Dragon
Ability: Protean/Huge Power
Base Stats: HP 80/Atk 100/Def 80/SpAtk 80/SpDef 80/Speed 100 base total: 520
Mega Stats: HP 100/Atk 130/Def 90/SpDef 90/Speed 130 Base total: 620

Hp + 20
Atk + 30
Def +10
SpAtk + 0
SpDef + 10
Speed + 30

Mega Flygon is the mega that probably wont happen even though we want it to. While having a Mediocre stat total being and being outclassed by Garchomp, Flygon still makes a huge impact with its diverse move pool. Although giving up immunity to ground, it gains the bug typing which gives it a resistance to the type. Mega Flygon will respect its Dragonfly image much more by being alot faster. Protean helps with its weaknesses to ice and dragon, while huge power doubles it's already outstanding 130 base attack. Plus it just needs some love

But why not boost the attack stat if you are giving it sap sipper?

Description:
Klinklang is pretty good offensive wise but his defenses is his greatest weakness he gets ko by EQ almost eveytime, so an added defense and special defense will allot him to take more hits, i also added the electric type to him, and gave him the levitate ability so Ground type does nothing, also with gear grind. Finally i boost his attack and speed for more sweeping ability.

By the way, Alec, Tygaa, i dont know if this forum is an exception but when you make megas you can't add health points, it would be wierd for them to gain/loose health during a match thats why game freak doesnt add points to health :P

just chose sap sipper b/c grass is gastrodon's only weakness. gastrodon has good spa attacks so the sap sipper boost wont help make them stronger

I suppose, plus if people know it has sap sipper they wont dare to touch it with a grass attack anyway.
